Green is the most common colour in the natural world, think of nature and see green in all its glory expressing renewal and life. Green is said to have healing power and is understood to be the most relaxing and restful colour for human eyes. Green colour is associated with growth, safety and nature.
The Colour Green which represents prosperity and fertility was celebrated by the children of Udayan Kidz Dwarka Sector 8 as green colour day on the 13th July 2023 in an instructive way. Children were taught about the importance of the colour green.
The Green Colour Day Celebration in Preschool denotes nature, and our love towards the environment. We celebrate this day to take care of our environment. Green signifies nature, fertility, and prosperity. We learn to love and cherish our mother earth.
Classrooms and boards were decorated with green-coloured objects, giving a graceful appeal to the environment. Students of Nursery participated in making the green tree by handprint, as a group activity.
The children of playgroup did vegetable printing using okra. Okra has a distinct shape and texture with its ridges and bumps printing it in drawing can add interesting and organic textures to the artwork enhancing its visual appeal.
The children of Nursery class did hand printing activity. Each Student used their hand prints to make an imprint on the tree cutout as a part of group activity. Group activities enhance crital thinking and making the child a sharper thinker. Children learn to follow instructions in a better way.
The children of Junior KG and Sr. KG did a paper craft activity to enhance their fine motor skills. Paper craft is a collection of crafts using paper or card as the primary artistic medium for the creation of two or three-dimensional objects. Paper and card stock lend themselves to a wide range of techniques and can be folded, curved, bent, cut, glued, molded, stitched, or layered.
