Raksha Bandhan Celebration in Preschool

Rakhi Festival – a bond of love at Udayan Kidz Preschool and Daycare Centre, Gurugram

Raksha Bandhan is celebrated to strengthen the bond of love between brothers and sisters. It is the celebration to chaste the bond of love amongst the siblings. Everyone starts preparing for this festival much in advance.  Rakhi Celebration of pre-primary children was organised at Udayan Kidz, Gurugram to establish a bond of love between them.

This rakshan bandhan celebration in preschool teaches them the importance of nature in our lives and establish a similarity between brother and sister bond and that between man and nature to make them responsible humans who take care of their environment and save Mother Nature. To Make them understand the importance of sharing and giving to each other so that they can grow up into a caring individual. 

Rakhi Festival was organised at Udayan Kidz pre-primary school Sector-108, GURUGRAM in a very vigorously manner where kids were dressed in ethnic wear and given essential goodies and sweets as part of Raksha Bandhan activity, kids learned different ways of decorating pooja thali and also learned what all required in pooja thali, Story is told to kids to know the mythological background of Rakhi, Rakhi decoration activity, Card making for brother and sisters.

These kind of Raksha Bandhan activities in school are truly rewarding as they not only get the job done by the kids but also make them explore creative side and learn new innovations. Our teachers are always on toes and organised the whole material in an eco-friendly manner. Didi’s and teacher tied Rakhi to each other and celebrated this auspicious occasion. It was a beautiful moment for all of us, everyone felt the spirit of Rakshan Bandhan among all the students, teacher and staff of the school.
