What is Children’s Day?
Children’s Day Celebration marks a special occasion every year on 14th November in India. We honour the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. People lovingly called him ‘Chacha Nehru’ because he showed deep affection for children.
On this day, we celebrate childhood, spread happiness, and remind ourselves to create a joyful and nurturing environment for every child.
Why Children’s Day Celebration Matters?
At Udayan Kidz, we believe that children are the heart of our school. Celebrating Children’s Day helps us:

How did Udayan Kidz Celebrated?
Our Children’s Day celebration was filled with laughter, surprises, and delightful moments. The aim was to make every child feel extra special on their big day.
Activities & Highlights:
- Welcome with Warm Wishes – Children were greeted with bright smiles and cheerful messages by their teachers.
- Fun Games & Activities – Age-appropriate games such as musical chairs, balloon play, relay fun, and free dance time made the day energetic.
- Teacher’s Special Performance – Teachers presented a small skit/song/dance to bring joy to the children and express love.
- Art & Craft Corner – Children enjoyed making simple crafts like smiley badges, colourful crowns, or handprint art.
- Story Time – A special story session on friendship, sharing, and kindness.
- Photo Booth Fun – A colourful photo corner allowed kids to capture happy memories.
- Special Treat – Children enjoyed a small snack treat to end the celebration on a sweet note.
