INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION AT UDAYAN KIDZ

Independence Day is celebrated annually on 15 August as a public holiday in India commemorating the nation’s independence from the Britishers on 15 August 1947.

Independence Day is an occasion to commemorate and remember the sacrifice of freedom fighters who fought for our country’s independence.

Several institutions and iconic buildings across the country are illuminated in the colours of the national flag on this day.

The night before India got its independence, our first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru delivered a historic speech titled ‘Tryst With Destiny’.

Our Prime minister unfurls our national flag on Lal Quila every year.

Independence Day is marked throughout India with flag-raising ceremonies, drills, and the singing of the Indian national anthem.

Additionally, various cultural programs are made available in the state capitals.

The prime minister delivers a televised address to the country after unfurling our national flag, recounting the major accomplishments of India during the previous year and outlining future challenges and goals.

Many leaders played a prominent role in the Indian freedom struggle, including Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Bhagat Singh, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Subhas Chandra Bose, and many more.

Independence Day also coincides with the Partition of the country when the country was severed on communal grounds and widespread bloodshed, migration and violence followed.

We celebrated our Independence day with Kids singing our National anthem and other cultural activities at Udayan Kidz, Ashiyana Nagar.

They enjoyed all the activities and performed very well. We made them understand that all the good habits that we develop in our life will make us a good citizen of our country.

We are very blessed that we are enjoying all the liberty and living our aspirations, because our great freedom fighters laid their lives for giving us our present.

Our Kids happily said that we will practice good habits, and will try to become a good citizen of our great country.
